Ambrose Tuscano

Artificial Intelligence for Science and Social Good Laboratory

Ambrose Tuscano is currently pursuing his Master’s in Computer Science at UMBC. His research interests are inclined towards the Natural Language Processing and Data Science domains. He believes that complex problems are solved majorly on paper and subsequent coding is just a part of it. Eager to learn, grow, and challenge himself, he’s always open to new and interesting experiences that lie both within and outside of his comfort zone.

As a Vice-Chair for the UMBC-ACM Student Chapter, he is supporting a platform to plan and collaborate on events to foster interaction between students, faculty, and alumni. He also is a Graduate Assistant for the course CMSC 455, where he works with students helping them have a better learning experience.

Research interests:
As a research assistant with Dr. Jennifer Sleeman @AI-SSGL, he will be working on Multi-Modal methods for Fake News Detection.
